Don't really have one, but someone will have to donate my parts or money for me to enter:hehe:

It is crazy how much money you can toss into one of the little guys. With all of the upgrades on mine I think the worst one is the hot bodies aluminum carriers. They have a lot of slop I will be installing the stock ones back on in the future.

The female plug goes on the battery packs. ;) They're recessed too, so that's not an issue.

LOL, suppose your right. Made since at the time.

They have a US warehouse now

Yeah I ordered my batteries from the US warehouse but thet don't have everything there. I wish they did so shipping times would be better.

As far as the pimped out contest goes, give me a year maybe and then we can compair. Unless someone starts donating parts :D.

My bling truck is sitting on its stand in my hobby room, its more or less been put on the back burner, first for the Baja Build, and now to get the MERV the way i want it.

I shouldn't have said blinged just modded merv. Hpiguy you would be a front runner if there was a bling contest with the pede.

I guess I'm the only one w/o a bling truck? :whhooo: Was thinking of doing that with a 4x4 stampede. I like the looks of yours HPI, how much $ would you guess you put into it?

I just have the MERV and it doesn't have much bling. Just added a heatsink and wheelie bar. Hope to add more soon but mostly just upgraded stronger parts nothing really for show. Stuff like shocks, RPM Arms and bumpers, and such.

Thanks man. I dunno, I try to not add that stuff up. I figure if you enjoy the build and running it, then the money doesn't matter if you have it to spend. I'd say it's four figures if I had to guess, counting the truck. Way too much to beat on it like I do I suppose. :D

Sorry I brought it up. :hehe: If I were to build a bling truck there is no way I could let it sit on a shelf it's whole life. There really is no point in owning any rig if you can't enjoy bashing it.

You have a link to any pictures of your truck?

I guess this bling thing competition means I need to finish my new lid for my mERV.

Ha ha, I kind of get the guys that build them up for display, and mine gets lots of attention if it's downstairs, even from people who aren't into RC at all. To each his own in my book. But yeah, mine gets bashed hard, I've broken a couple plastic wheelie bars, and some rod ends, and a wheel. :D

There's a whole build thread here

I can't wait to see it hamz!

I would like to paint a lid but I'm so hard on bodies. I run them till the are half cabs and then buy a used one so I'm not mad when it gets destroyed.

I understand that thinking, but I usually have a display lid and then a beating lid to keep the nice ones nice.

So it begins.....got the wheels and hex's today, should have the tires and charger tomorrow, if all Goes well i may be on a track on Sunday (weather Pending of course).
