hey guys kinda a newbie at the hole lipo scene as was wondering if anyone orderd any lipos from hobbyking for there mervs an which ones? Thanks

I ran these packs on mine wich are a VERY tight squeeze but they do fit.

i have the 2s zippy flightmax's 2200 Mah from hobby king and i have the venom 2s 2000 Mah (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXXMP0&P=0) and i can't really tell a difference. both are great. shipping just takes a while from hong kong unless you wanna pay and extra 25 bucks for express, but it still takes about a week...in the end you could have another lipo for the cost of shipping... i wish someone would sell the zippy's in the states!!!

it's got a lot of useful information about the MERV. i know the zippy flightmaxx 2200 lipos will fit, but you have to dremel a bit off the battery tray to get them to fit...plus u'll have to solder a traxxas connector on the battery when u get it. if u go that route, just make sure you DON'T cut both wires at the same time when u cut off the connector that came on them. i did that and ruined the battery...lol lessons learned...good luck and keeps us posted which route you take...o and here's the link to the zippy's. they are currently out of stock though...

O I see. A friend of mine said that if you spend to long trying to solder them you can ruin them is that true? Thanks!
