If anybody happens to have one handy I need to know the approximate dimensions of a MERV diff. Long (end to end of outputs) and Wide (diameter of ring gear). I'd appreciate it greatly, thanks.

nobody willing to help a brotha out here? I put an email in to Traxxas but havn't heard anything back. Usually they're pretty fast.

Can anybody help me out here??? I've emailed Traxxas twice and I swear they are simply refusing to help me.

Sorry for the late reply lessen, but tomorrow I need to tear down my merv. I was gonnd do it the other day but never did, and now I have to because there is this loud clicking noise coming from it after today so tomorrow around noon I should have the size up here for you..

This is what I did for you Lessen..

and I lost a ring gear for you!

jk!...The differential from output to output is 1 3/8th" long... 7/8" wide

haha time to take a trip the lhs tomorrow for some parts... Hope this helped!

That's pretty much it. I'm surprised by how small it is. You said 7/8" is the overall width (diameter of ring gear)? Just want to clarify before I buy.

Did you want the end of the gears to then end of the gears or just the smooth part..?

Usually it can, but i've stripped out a few here and there. I have never shimmed mine though.

No problem, just helping a bud out. And yea, i never remember to shim while its in a thousand pieces, only when its all back together.
