hi; looking to buy a nitro off road truck but not sure what brand to buy
 
There are lots of good trucks on the market. Which one to recommend would depend on what you want to do with it and what your budget is. Are you going to race or just bash or a combination of both?

Another thing to look at is what parts your local hobby shop stocks.

This being said, I would have to recommend the Traxxas Revo. Most hobby shops carry parts for it. It is also a capable basher and racer without many if any mods.
 
Go for the Losi LST2 I've had mine for over a year, I bash on it pretty hard and the only thing i've ever broken was a front swing arm..(hit a tree a lil to hard..) Cost me about three bucks to fix..
