Anyone got problems with frying their glow plugs...kinda weird...I had it really rich then leaned out the high speed needle...then it melt my glow plug...used 3...check the temp and it was only at 249 f...still burnt my plugs...what the hells going on???:whhooo:

i only went through 1 glow plug since i bought my truck (about 5 months ago)..sure its not still running overly rich?

you got problems with pressing the brake and the truck just dies out??? :whhooo:

if your pressing the brake and your truck dies it probly means you have to adjust your carb and make sure your have a 1.5mm- 2mm gap in the barrel of your carb.

apply your brakes with the truck not running and the electronics on. adjust your trim on your radio until you have a 1.5mm - 2mm gapin your carb.

what glow plugs are you running?

I adjusted my idle this morning and it worked fine...I left a game I might need to close it a bit..2mm..hmmm it should be ok...it works now..thanks...
I was running r5 plugs...just changed it to the O.S. plugs mediums...seems to work ok now...plus I richen all my needles...heh heh..
