Alright, heres the plan... I am going to sell my tc3, and my brother (brian), is going to sell his tc3 and his b4 (one of them will be rtr). I am really looking into getting a NTC3 because I've heard good things about them and associated is a good name. Brian said he wants something different, so he's looking at the CD3's and the LD3's cuz they look pretty good (i have no clue tho). We will be racing here http://www.rc-cars.com/index/index.html. We also have a GREAT street for onroad and it has a sidewalk that you can drive up onto and our driveway/garage is easy access also. That way we can make up our own tracks, AND do drag races, etc.
If anyone has any opinions on which cars we should get, like if they handle like crap, they are slow, they break really easy, LMK. I'm only looking to spend around $250-350 on a used upgraded NTC3 in the best condition possible. (I'm not getting stock, too much $$ to get a better engine, etc).
Hes looing to spend around $300 or less. I'm pretty sure he wants new.
I'm not sure if Ofna is the way to go for brian. He needs something that wont break, and is EASY TO WORK ON (<thats key for him). If he breaks something and he doesn't know how to fix it, I'm gonna have to fix it for him. The reason is, driving alone is BORING. I don't know how many times this happened. He broke something and didn't know how to fix it, I tell him "look at the manual" and he says "i lost it" <DAMN that pisses me off cuz i print out soooo many for him. He is too dumb to know what to search for, so i have to find it for him. (very sad for a 12 year old) end of rant.
ANYWAY, we're open to all suggestions...
