Well I finished the build on my MD530. Added a few extras that didn't come with the kit; machine gun under the nose and the guy on the skids. Here's a short vid of it, nothing really impressive. This was only the 2nd time I had flown this one, the first being a 3-4 minute test flight after fitting the fuse on. It was a bit windy and me not being used to the flight characteristics of this heli after fitting the fuse, made for some shaky flight...LOL

Hope you guys enjoy it!

Nicely done. GI Joe is a nice touch. Great looking build and nice flying.

I'm curious did the guy on the skid off set the balance a little? It seemed to tilt to one side.
Never the less awesome heli.
Saw one that looked exactly like it at my local hobby shop.

Thanks for the kind words fella's!

I'm not real sure if I was the cause of the lean and it moving a bit or if it did off set it a little. It flies the same as it did before I put the fuse on it, with the exception of it being a little "heavy" feeling in flight.

I don't check the balance of a heli as it's not that important, compared to the CG of a plane anyways. If the heli is nose or tail heavy,(or side to side) you use the trims to get it right and it's set. Unlike a plane where you have to move the battery pack or add/remove weights to get the CG right.

It's blast though...

This think looks very good.
Nicely done, and certainly showready.

1 question:

Are you running that engine extremely rich?

The lean looks like it could be caused by the figure, however it looks more real this way, as if you would watch a pipeline helicopter do his job with people on the platform it would look almost the same in real world.

Yea, extremely rich....the fuselage doesn't let the engine "breath" as well cause the sides are somewhat blocked, compared to only having only a canopy on it, thus retaining more heat inside the fuse....

Glad ya like! Thanks!
