I am almost sure that would have happened to me if you did not give me that info, thanks for all the help from every one. If you all think of things like Monkey Wrench just posted keep them comeing. I have not had a chance to start my build yet, but hope to get to it next week. Will post pictures as I make progress.

Dif build up, get rid of the 3x8 screws that hold the gear to the dif cup, there's 4 per dif and get 3x10's or 3x12's.

How is this build comming,I used a carbon brake pad set up and it helped a bunch....if neded I will look for the part # for ya....what tires you going to run?????and a high down force wing did wonders on my track....good luck this truggy is a blast to build.....

Hi, I have ont got started on it yet. Just have not had the time. I got a high down force wing for it, but I have not got carbon brake pads, I would like that part # form you if you could get it for me. Thanks again for all the help from every one, post some pictures of your rides , I would love to see them.

Here's a pic of my recent build. The mbx5t was enjoyable to build, and even more to drive. I built mine per instructions (be careful, the rear diff has NO O-rings), but thought I would include my idea for a rear cooling flap on the body. Shook it out yesterday, (now the roof is all scratched up <G>), I only had to drop the front ride height, move the frt arm spacers to the back for less castor, move the wing back and top holes, and adjust the brake bias. Oh, and it really cooled great........

note: the front w/shield hole, the L window cut out, and the rear exit flap......

nice how you liking the os vspec with the jp3 pipe,I just started break in on my os eb modd and plan on running the jp3 when I move it out of break in buggy to the mugen truggy, than I still have one more for the buggy to break in,man going to be a long day.....lololololo os rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell ya the OS rocks! I use the UN-modified version, and its still more power than I need. Easy to find sweet spot, will idle all day long, and gets 12 minutes per tank!

YES YOU ALL HE SAID 12 MINS A TANK all day long its almost cheating I think thats the only reason I had to switch motors was to compete on pit stops there is no way to win if someone only has to pit two times to your three,os vspecs rock, you will want to change the conrod and bearings in the stock vspec after a gallon or so...just to be safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More good info guys, I am also going to run a stock Vspec in my MBX5T and my Hyper 8 Pro. I have one that is broke in and the other is not, my starter box is having a hard time just turning the engine over.

I just broke in a motor today its a ebmod vspec,I had to steel the wifes hair dryer and run it on the engine for over 5 mins just to heat the thing up enough to turn it over super tight when new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
