My 5T chassis was wearing thin and I knew I would need one before season's end so when Bill @ BCE came out with a 5R chassis to go along with the 5T chassis I popped for both. Well they showed up yesterday and I was a little late getting to the track so swapping them over I only ran one qualifier and the main with the 5T. Wow, well worth the money spent! It took and already awesome handling truck and made it even better if that was possible. The T chassis is 3mm longer in the rear. It's definitely stiffer and jumps nicer. Seems so much more consistent throughout the run and handles the rough like it's not even there. I need to work on my buggy setup a little before the nats this coming weekend but it was nice too! Definitely a stiffer, more consistent ride there too. Didn't seem as twitchy.

I am considering this chassis to try out. The 5T flies pretty well over the jumps. Its not common to have a squirrly flight but it happens. Is this really a good upgrade? I was looking at the article on XRC about high downforce wings.

Jet are you using a standard wing? I use the Proline wing. I was considering a high downforce wing till I came across this article.

Opinions?

I to have gone to the bce chassies,in process now of switching them but my team mate has his done and a big help on a already dialed mugen ,I got both truggy and buggy for the mugen from bce and they are so pretty the machine work is out of this world, just stay on top of him mine took forever to get I think he was haveing employee trouble at the time of my order...but well worth the wait,I will try for a picture as soon as the swap is done:LoL:

Thanks fastflee.

I don't know whether I should go this route or just leave it be and work on the wing options.

go thd chassis route! I run himoto, proline and ofna hd wings, the chassis made thd truck so much more consistent throughout even in the air.
