What kinda track/conditions ?

And whats with - cvd/universals...............................mbx-4 universals ? any benifit ?

Ashton's can be ran pretty much anywhere. I have been running a mix of Bradley's and Ashton's and doing alright.

I'm gonna run something similar to Bess's this weekend and let you know how it goes. Everyone says his is the way to go. Planning on trying 3F, 5C, and 1R on the diffs. That way the diffs can do their job. The track I will be on gets a little loose sometimes and has some tight turns.

Chad likes the universals . Some of the guys are having problems with their CV's. I haven't had any problems with mine so I'm gonna leave them alone.

Ya I'm running 3/5/1 on a small/tight/bumpy track and seems to be working good.. I put all the shims on the back side of upper arm to straighten the caster up some, and improved my turn in big time.. I went to Blue springs on the track i run at, it settled the car down big time - with greys i was bouncing all over (35wt front/40 rear). Still waiting on the 2.6 rear sway bar to see if that helps with off throttle turns

I tried out Bess's set up and it is the best I have used so far. I changed the diff fluid to 3F, 5C, 1R, and went with 40W shock oil in the front and 35W in the rear to accomodate my track. I also went with the short wheelbase. The buggy felt good all day.
