aright first thing.... It is so much easier to read if you use some of these: .......
also, if it is spitting A LOT of fuel it is too rich. try leaning out 1/2 turn (clockwise) and for the dying, try turning in the idle scre setting. it is a small copper screw on the back of the carb. good luck, and tell me how it works.

edit: sorry for that, ummm... idk if the CARB is spitting fuel. it is too rich if the stinger is spitting fuel. maybe it is still too rich. put it back to factory and lean it out 1/2 turn...

just my .02

i did the ideal screw no diffrence it keeps turning of if i close the high end screw all the way how many turns should i give it its the 2.5 engine to not wasp 26 for the other guy trying to help me

Yes I know that but the principles are the same but Set your high speed need to 4 turns out from closed, low speed needle even with the slide valve ( the recessed part of the slide), and adjust your idle speed screw so that there is at the most a 1 mm opening in the carb. Adjust from there.

ur pic in ur sig is too large, suppose to be no large then 460 X 80.

AS far as the engine goes, what glow plug are u running, and what fuel % and whats the weather like. what I'm thinkin is maby u got like too cold of a glow plug or somethin. who knows.

If you set the idle stop screw right it won't shut off. The slid can't close all the way or enough to kill the engine if it is set right. Does it run fine while you give it gas??

i have the same problem I'm going to change the glow plug and i'll let you guys no if it solved it

I doubt the glo plug is bad, have you by any chance taken the arm off the servo (don't know if thats what its called, but its the thing that the lincage connects to. Tell me if you don't understand what I am talking about) because if you didn't put it on in the same place it was taken off, then it would cause that. My friends neighbor had the same prob and that was what it turned out being.

i have taken it off 1 time or another i changed glow plug still turing of when i hit the brake :flaming: i need help

thats most likely your prob then, take the arm off again an hold it away from the car, turn your rx an your tx on then put both trims to the center so the servo is completely centered and then put the arm back on and watch the carb opening, try to put the arm back on so the opening is the right distance (about the width of a credit card) . Hope this helps tell me if it dosent or if you dont understand

i understand just got out of work going to go and try it in a while i'll let you now wat happens and i just like to thank ever body for there help

it was the carb settings and the linkage its running so good three tank fuls and did not turn off the temp is 201 to 205 also just changed the glow plug just in case
