Does anyone know if 17mm maximizer beadlocks will work on a REVO? I was doing some research and i saw some adapters that said they were for a REVO, i was wondering what these were for too. Thanks
 
Those adapters should work. The beadlocks are great! I have some on my Revo. Makes it a lot easier to change tires. No more boiling!
 
So they will bolt right on a REVO with 17mm splined hubs?
 
you will need a 17mm hex hub to get the maximizers to work.

i had them myself but stuck with the stock 14mm hub. they were great wheels. maxximizer makes great products

so you need to get rid of the 17mm traxxas hubs and get the HEX version
 
So i got these tires and wheels and they are awesome, i ended up breaking one rear drive axle. Then converted the REVO to two wheel drive using one of the front drive axles on the back where i broke the other and then i broke the other side on the back. I gotta say the REVO is bad ass in two wheel drive or was it would do donuts on asphalt and smoke the tires. Hind sight, i'm pretty sure the donuts are what broke the axles in the first place, but it was fun. Very happy about the wheels and tires and waiting on the new drive axles to come so i can rip it up again. Hells yea, I'm pumped.

Are you saying the Traxxas 17mm splined hubs won't work with 17mm hex wheels?

If so, the Traxxas 17mm (hex) splined hubs work the same as any other 17mm hex hub. They work with 17mm hex hub wheels and wheel wrenches.
 
the maximizer adapter set workes great with my revo platnium wheels on my 5309 - just had to cut the tabs out of the hubs themselves...
 
All Traxxas did was take a regular 17mm hub and put a notch on the flats.
 
Yeah i bought the wheels used and those notches were cut out partially anyway on one of them..so just cut the rest out and used the maximizer hex's and they work fine..
