Maximizer beadlocks?

has anybody tried these? I'm in the market for a new set of rims and came across these. I thought they looked pretty cool and I can't find anything too bad on them. do they slip? I like the idea so I only have to buy tires and foams and can just change them out as needed.

are there any other beadlocks that are better? does anybody make 40 series?

I have had three sets of maximizer beadlocks, and have been happy with all of them. My latest set are the 17mm with .5 offset. They have an updated wheel face which grips the tire bead very well.

Axial and Proline makes beadlocks for 40 series tires.

I forgot to add that the beadlocks do weigh more than a conventional wheel. IIRC each beadlock wheel weighs 1 oz more than a conventional wheel.

thanks sweetdiesel! now that I've found some 40 series, what do you guys think on the axials? i like the look of them better than the prolines, but function does come before looks.

axial and maximizer are by far the best bead locks, personaly i like maximizer the best because of the internal build they are very strong and reliable, but axial is also good, i have a pair of maximizer beadlocks on my aftershock and have had them for 2 years, i have never been dissapointed, have always stood up to anything, and can take hard landings, and alot of torque
