RC Driving Style
I just got my Max ST pro, and I have had nothing but problems from it,:flaming: its been nothing but trouble. everytime I run it something breaks, the first time i got it the hobby shop tunned it up for me and broke a little rod that makes the front tires move ( forgive me I am still a newbie at nameing the parts) then i was driving along and the rear CV shaft pin came out ripping a huge groove in the aluminium rear hub. and I loose screws like crazy i am having to go and tighten everything after every tank i run in it. if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix the screw problem besides locktight which is not working i would appreciate it. and perhaps can i get some opionions on other people that own ST pros

I think your doing it all wrong. You must not be using loktite right. The blue locktite should work and I think You dont understand. Locktite can only be used on Metal TO Metal contacts. Not Metal TO Plastic. Keep that in mind. You also might.....Idunno....I know lots of people have this and I havent heard of half of the problems your having.

yeah the loctite will soften up lots of plastics and make the screws come out even easier

I have a maximum ST. That thing is a piece of crap. Problem after problem after problem. They are cheap RC and you get what you pay for. :(

I am glad someone shares the same the views as me I have had nothing but problems from this peice of junk!!!

There's a reason why many hobby stores refuse to sell Duratrax....it's because they don't want to deal with the headaches dealing with people returing them saying that this doesn't work right, or this broke, or basically I wan't my money back. Maybe that's why they got the nickname Duratrash...
On the flip-side, I've read that there are a few people on this board that love Duratrax and have several of them. Me, I've heard to many negatives from to many people to even consider one.

Ohh yeah, a kid came in the hobby store the other day asking for parts for his Evader ST. What was really funny about it all was that he had a broken a-arm, but there wasn't a speck of dirt on the tires or a scratch on the body.

maybe it broke when it took it out of te box and put it on the table.

most of the problems i saw centered around the engine. my son still uses it from time to time, but has constant problems. from time to time, i kick around the idea of tossing a better engine in it. but then, he'd just start breaking other parts.
