Most of my vehicles use more than the standard O.E.M. receiver channels. I also like to WATERPROOF my connections by using short servo extensions. It is easy to keep the channels straight even with the receiver buttoned up in a box by marking the extension leads with stripes or dots on wires and connectors with a SHARPIE. Waterproof markers like SHARPIES in a plethora of colors can also be used to create custom wire coding for complex projects ( e.g. my custom, highly modified and experimental THEREMIN from PAIA https://paia.com/proddetail.php?prod=9505KC.
