Hey guys!
I wuz in between the mammoth and the savage about a month ago. And thought a savage would better suit my bashin needs. But about a week ago i raced my stock savage and got hooked.
This week i was plannin on tricken my savage out to be a racer.

What do you guys think, keep savage and trick it out or sell and go for mammoth.
What are the pros and cons of both?
What would i need to do to it before racin?
Can i use a roto start on it?
Will it work for light bashin but more racing?
Does 2nd gear really strip when u land on the gas?
Any flaws?

Sorry to ask for so much, and i know u guys have been asked this many times.

PS. I also got bow tie wheels, will they work for the mammoth. They are 40 series wheels?

Thanx guys!

Maybe soon to come: Mammoth

Had both the Savage and the Mammoth. For Bashing, definitely the Savage. I don't even know if I'd go with the Mammoth for racing. I stripped two sets of gears on the Mammoth. It needs a slipper clutch or I needed to get off the gas when it landed. But a slipper would help.

The diffs "click" and eventually strip gears. Yeah, I did the shims, longer screws and the like. The Mammoth is super quick. Very fast......when its running.

The Mammoth spent more time on the bench than on the track.
