I have been thinking of purchasing a Revo, the Mamba Monster has really caught my eye. Any tip and or concerns I should know before I buy?

If you don't already know about lipo batteries, start researching. Aside from that maybe you should look at tires and wheels.

if your buying new, i strongly reccomend an outerwears cover before your first run.. keep it clean and well lubed and it will take care of you.

A good charger is a must for any electric RC. If you plan to use LiPo batteries, you need to buy at least a 40c discharge rate or higher battery. A LiPo sack for charging is a good idea for safety as well.

I have a new Venom Pro Charger that should work.

Wouldn't the outer wear trap the heat in and burn out the equipment sooner?

I'm planning this to be my track truck and will be running a lower gear ratio for faster excoriation. Will there be any parts of the drive train that will need to be upgraded to handle the torque?

The mamba monster only requires 25c @ 5000 mah, but it's wise to get at least a 30c battery.....the more c the better.

Actually Castle Creations recommends a 30c because the 25c doesn't put out enough current and tends to fry the ESC.

There are two sizes of eRevo, the mini or 1/16 and the eRevo Brushless which is the same size as the Revo 3.3.
