This is for any of you running a Mamba Max ESC, if you have not updated your firmware in the last month or so the update adds or at least it did on mine a crawler specific drag brake setting that sets it at 213%:whhooo::D, my crawler now stops almost like it has worm gears, another feature they changed is it now has what is called crawler reverse which takes out any delay between going from forward to reverse, it had this before but it is now geared towards crawlers. I still have to get it on the rocks but just playing around the house I can see a dramatic difference with the new drag brake setting, it added a few other updates too but I am not sure what exactly they are, the only one that stood out was the crawler Drag brake.:D

Holly old news batman!

lol.

It depends on how good your motors are too on how effective it is. I can run 100% on my Team Br00ds and never have a hint of roll. So having a quality motor makes a huge difference. But I have had it on the 213% for a couple months now just for good measure lol.

Sorry Mr. Up to date, I just found out about it, LOL!!! Maybe if you would have posted something a couple months ago about it I would have known, LOL!!! :D:hehe::p:

That should be the crawler guru's job....:whhooo:
:hehe:

I updated mine a couple of months ago as well and the crawler brake is nice but scares me on 3s when it comes to a dead stop after punching it, I envision all kinds of driveline carnage but it's fun none the less.

That is why I run MIP C Spine Drive shafts, I have been running the same set for the last couple of years and the most I have done to them is take them apart, clean and re-grease them, they are solid!!!!:D
