Hi i have been needing to press the gas repeaditly on my t-15 engine with a rs43 car to get it up to speed. I have to hold the gas, let go for 2 seconds, hold gas, let go, and hold gas in that exact pattern to get the car up to top out speed. Why is this. I also wanted to know is there supposted to be a huge increase in heat sink temperature when switching from 10-20% nitro. Engine is broken in. Also, when i cover the antenna on the trans. the gas moves up a little bit on the thrtle lever, enough to hear the rpm difference, also this happens when you get the trans. antenna close to the car antenna. Why is this and now do i fix these problems. Thanks

Chris

I think you should richen out the carb a little. I had a hard time before getting it to get to top speed while pulling throttle just richen out bout half a turn try that out and then lean out after that.

No clue about the difference of temp. with switch of nitro, and with the antenna.

wait.. so why do you need to do this? Why not just hold the throttle? Before you start going next time when you start it.... pick it up and rev it untill you can hear max rpm. That way it will unclog your engine of anything and once you set it down you can use full throttle. Sounds like your High speed needle is rich.

why would he need to richen out his HSN if hes not getting max rpm? Switching from 10-20% will give you a great performance gain and lower temps.

reset your needles to factory specs and start over tuning the high speed first then the low-end.................I've fixed several cars/trucks at the shop by simply doing this. Its so simple, if you get in trouble with tuning, reset the needles and start over........make sure theres a nice trail of blue smoke and keep an eye on the temps..........hope this helps..............as far as the rest...........no clue.....
