ok i took it to my favorite hobby shop. because i melted the clutch shoes to the clutch bell yesterday. it took 3 hours at the shop to get the right cluch and it costed me 100 bucks. but smartech is sending me $50 throu paypal because they say it might have been their fault.

so the guy at the shop tunes it up all nice and it can go about 30mph right now. so i go to a near by field to go test it out because i had to wait for my dad to pick me up at the hobby shop. for two tanks. it runs perfectly. i am happy i finnaly got this thing going.

BUT when i got home. i went WOT down the street when it was just barley raining. i tried to turn and whent straight in a corvette's wheel.

i broke 2 bulkheads a shock a skidplate a few screws that go through the bulkheads to hold the a-arms on. and all the linkage that goes does all the steering stuff.and a few other things i already have. my whole front end went about 25 feet away from the other half by the corvette. I'm glad i dient damage the car.

so there, my first real crash... if anyoneknows where i could get these parts cheapest please tell me. it uses regular t-maxx parts.

so why did the clutch cost $100 if you can just replace it with a cheap Traxxas clutch?
 
ok i got traxxas clutch with a 18 tooth bell. and i neede a newcrank, engine mount( because if the clutch was going to fit i needed the engine to be closer to the spur gear. ) and a new pullstart cuz my friend pulled it too hard out all the way.

Well then you were upgrading. I thought you meant you paid $100 for a clutch.

LMAO at all of you. This thread is nearly a year old. Check the date of the starting post in the thread. Someone resurrected this old thing, and you guys are all over it like a starving pack of hyenas. Give it a rest, and let this sucker find its way back into the archives.

lol never even looked at the date... i figured stuff on the top is most recent. lol. it was all rndtrp he brought the thread back to life. lol. :ha:

No problem. Just be sure to check the date. Crashes that happened a year ago are probably already resolved.

not always... like my TRAXXAS Nitro Hawk i blew the engine on that over 2 years ago and have never fixed it. lol.
