Mach 454 any good?

looking for a new motor for my savage x. I was looking to buy the lrpz.28 spec 3 and then ppl started tellingme that Mach 454 is exactly the same as the lrp.28 spec 3. Is this true? Because the Mach 454 is $100 cheaper. Also how does the Mach 454 compare to the f4.6?

I heard its either a hit or miss, but that may or may not be true. But it is similar to Asociated's discontinued .28 (replaced by the .30).

Its an LRP .28 with a slightly smaller carb. Its a great engine.

The LRP .28 isn't discontinued abovelegit. Where did you see it was discontinued??

I herd the lrp.28 is discontinued also. Wanted to get it but don't want to b stuck for parts.

The LRP .28 has been discontinued it has been replaced by the LRP .30

I went looking for one a few weeks back and every shop I called told me the same thing when I called to ask when they would have them back in stock.

I don't want to spend 180 on the Mach 454 and regret it wen I can get the lrp.28 spec 3 for 229. I alsodont want to be stuck for parts with the lrp.

i here the axial .28 spec 1 is a good motor.
