What does everyone think of the mach 15 motor that comes in the losi ? i picked up a rtr kit 2 monts old for a great price with a os 15 cvrx dont ya think the os cvrx might be to wild for it maybe need to go to tmaxx?

I'm just trying to decide stick with the mach or what how is it for tuneing thx Rob
 
I had one never could get it to run worht a sheit also there were to other guys at the track that had issues also damn thing would just die and not start was not hot .. I got tired of messin with it put a cv-rx .12 on there. then I ended up selling the whole truck and put the mach .15 back on.. If you can get it to tune they are pretty peppy little 15 but I Would not recommend you buying one if that is what you are asking. If its got a cv-rx .15 you should be cool its only .10 hp more than a .12 cv-rx X
 
it came with both engines he said the cvrx need a sleeve and piston and the 15 is on the truck now seem to run ok today but i ran out of nitro was expecting to get it till sat shipping is uaully slow
 
ok if you need a .15 cv-rx sleve and piston DO NOT buy just those parts tell me when you want to buy them and I will find you a cheap cv-r engine that you can use the internals from for a few bucks more than a rebuild kit then sell the carb and head on ebay to help offset cost or just have lots of backups if the mach is running then run it man... If you really like that truck you will want a Drake edition soon enough...X
 
I have a xxx-nt rtr with the mach 15 and I love it I think its got good power and runs great and I dont have it tuned quite right yet plus to rebuild it is only like 25 bucks but I got three rebuilds for free so I'm set for a while
 
I'm running the Mach .15 in my Losi. I replaced the rotary with an OS 10c slide carb after the first tank. The stock carb is the problem. This motor, with a slide carb, KICKS A$$. I'll find some vids lying around somewhere. I can't keep the wheels on the ground...lol
 
well i dont have to worry about it after carb came apart so since i pulled motor to change carb it was crazy just happened to put a os cvx back on ..lol
