Hello guys I'm really new to this, and I'm having some troubles with my loss xxx nt engine, i was running good this morning but after 8 mins or so the shutted down and i failed to turn it on again, any ideas whats goin on? also the recoil starter is a bit more rigid than before, and i can't make it start again.. So please any ideas to i can check? i want to fix it.. motor has 2 gallons used only and don't wanna lose it :\:(

IMO- If everything appears ok on the outside (no fuel leaks, glowplug and filament on the bottom are in working order, all carb needles are present, no cracks in the head/base of the motor) than I would do a complete teardown and look inside at the piston, cylinder, crank, crank bearings, conrod, and check the pinch to see if you have any left. Not everyone enjoys that part of the hobby but preventative maintenance goes a long way with engine life. The fact you have about 2 gallons thru it - Its time for a good teardown anyway

Thanks, indeed i did a complete teardown, and everything was ok! it was a little flooded and the nitro little hose were in some wrong positions, anyways now it runs really good and still has the good 1 horse power^^

You may be fine in the beginning but as you use it you will probably develop airleaks
