alright guys i have a dynamite mach .15 engine in my xxxnt, its about 7 years old. i also have one that is a few year newer, seems like they changed motor designs, or at least different carbs. The new one is running great. the older one i decided i was going to try and get it going again. The problem I'm having is it won't pull fuel through the line. i tried covering the air intake with my finger and turned the engine over, still wouldn't pump. i took the carb apart to clean it, there was a lot of gunk in the main needle adjustment port so i figured that was the problem. unfortunately it still won't pump fuel. i dont know what the factory needle positions are? any help is greatly appreciated.

They actually don't "pump" fuel, they push it. Do you have any compression at all? Putting you finger over the carb inlet just restricted the air flow even more. It takes exhaust pressure to push fuel to the engine...

yeah it seems to have compression, it has a pull start and feels the same as when i try to start my other xxxnt. on my xxxnt that runs i can put my finger over the carb air inlet and it helps get the fuel from the tank to the carb, but that doesn;t work on the older one. when i prime the carb, put fuel in the air intake the engine will start for just a few seconds but it does run. thanks for the help guys
