Maybe try contacting Rich Reid at ReidRC for more detailed information. I'm sure he can either direct you to Andy Brown (the designer, I believe) or maybe some satisfied customers. It's worth a shot.
 
I've got the stock MAC. Running it in a Lightning Pro. Fantastic engine no problems runing against a K2 with a Rody C5. Would highly recommend this engine. Very smooth power band.
