I have both those radios, but the M11 was the Tx for the Savage.
I was setting up the 3rd channel for reverse, and can't find a way to lock it in as 'full on/full off.

I took the JR receiver out of the boat, and by going through the menu in the XS3Pro, I was able to choose '2P' or 2 position for the 3rd channel servo. I can go from forward to reverse with just a touch of the grip button.

With the M11, the only way I've been able to set the 3rd channel servo to respond is with the dial. That function is primarily a setup to richen or lean a fuel mix on the fly.

Does anyone know if there's something I missed that would allow me positive in/out for the reversing servo?

Ed is the only person I know of that has an M11.

Hey Rolex... I can also check with a buddy of mine down the street to see if he has ever set the third channel. He also has an M11.

Excellent. I guess you know what I'm trying to do, right? Full on with a button click, and full off with another click. Like the Traxxas 3 channel without the rocker switch, but just like the futaba with the momentary on the grip.
Full on forward, full on reverse. No in between.

Gotcha. Just like my XS3 Pro... push once, reverse... push again.. anti-reverse. :D

I remembered reading something about this.
I caught a hint of what you need to do, or should I say not do.

Look here and in the first few steps I think you may try to do what it says not to do.
I also think it says you need to re-bind if your using a spectrum setup.

See if this may help get you on the proper track.

"Latching of the switch" is what I'll have to try. I think I'll be able to make it work with a trim switch at 100% per click if I read it right. I'll let you know, but it sounds good.

Thank you VERY much, Ed.

Hey Ralph... it sounds like you have the answer you needed. I did speak to that buddy of mine.. and he has never needed to set his M11 up that way. He also said that the M11 doesn't have the switch like the XS3 has. I apologize that I was not much help. I figured I would at least ask him to see if he could help.

It has the same type of button on the grip, but it's set up to use as a lap timer and a couple of other options, and can not be programmed to act as the forward/reverse toggle.

Ah. I see. Were you able to figure out another way to work around it?

Excellent! Complete success. I have it set to the ch3 trim switch right next to the steering wheel. In his instructions, one click would bring it to zero and the next to the full right or full left of the servo throw, so each shift would take 2 clicks.
I got mine set up to go full in with one click, and full back with a click in the other direction.

Thanks for that link, Ed. You da MAN!

Thanks to you, also, godale03. I appreciate your effort. I had everything else figured out, but I could only shift it by turning the dial left or right. Now it's just a tiny click to shift it.
What an incredible radio this is. It almost does TOO much and this problem was not mentioned in the manual.
The 3rd channel, with the dial, was intended to either adjust the HSN on the fly, or adjust braking.
All is well. All is working. I is thankful.
