i dont have one but they look pretty cool, i mean they remind me of a M8 or something like that. Read the manuel , it will help ya, i know when i first got my JR XR2 i was clueless , but i read the meauel and it helped a whole lot. cool buy!

I run one. Yes, I like it. Yes, you will need to read the manual. Once it is set up, keep the manual around for reference; other than that it is a great radio to run and easy to work with.

i was wondering, maby i missed it as i was skimmin through it, but how do i keep my settings switching from one car to another? thats pretty cool how they got a timer on there, now i can finally figure out exactly how long my t-maxx runs on 1 tank of gas. now all they need to put is a temp gun built into the remote. lol. i know how to change the frequency, set the trims and all that.

The settings you set up are for a model. Within the memory of the Lynx, you can store settings for ten models. You might check pages 6 and 7 in the user's manual. Those pages describe how to access the edit menu and the respective reset, copy and select functions of the radio. The rest of the manual describes how to set the various extras that the radio comes with. Simply make all of your settings, and the radio remembers it for the model you have set in the radio. To move to another RC that requires different settings, select a different model (how-to on page 7 of the manual), and adjust the settings and viola...you are good to go. Page 6 details how to get into the edit menu (which is probably the trickiest part) and you can then select between your models using info from page 7.

Have fun and enjoy the radio.

ok thanks. i knew how to accesss the edit menu, i have been messin around with stuff there. lol. the best way to learn about stuff is to play around with it.

thanks,

soo stupid..

ok, i finally got my Novak XXL Novak Reciever in my t-maxx with my Lynx remote. i get everything hooked up, turn it on. steering servo works great, but the throttle servo is goofed up, so i reverse it and its all set. then i apply the throttle and the servo pulls the slide carb open, release the throttle, slide carb goes back in. but when i apply the breaks, this is where the problem is. i apply the breaks, carb closes, breaks are applied. i release the brakes and the carb opens to like half throttle. so I'm sitting there and adjusting the remote. looking at the maual. i finally get it so the throttle will work fine, but i got no breaks. right now i got it set up so at idle the breaks are locked up pretty much.

i did a little mod to my brakes on my t-maxx. got an extra set of those calipers on the breaks and wow what a difference. just pushing my truck with the throttle open, then releasing the throttle so the breaks are applied, the thing went right up on its nose.
