sometimes when i hit the throttle on my truck the tranny like starts lurching in small quick burst of movement?? any ideas?? if I back off the throttle then hit it again it starts to go though??

oh and one more how long should it take to get my tmaxx in reverse??mine has a delay sometimes

Its the tranny settling in. Mine did that less as I drove it more.

It's actually quite normal for a maxx tranny to do that. It is due to the clutches and reverse set up in the tranny. The BEST thing you could do is a forward only conversion. This will completely eliminate the lurching altogether and make taking off instantanious. It also removes a bunch of weight and rotational mass from the tranny as well as the need for the third servo. The best low dough mod you can do to a maxx imo.
