Luke’s Slash MM (Mid motor)

Little update:

Figured out bumper mounting. Done some work since these pics. Threw in the servo from the Vendetta’s active aero since I’m putting in a mini servo in that. Also threw in a GoolRC budget ESC to use until I buy a MAX10 from @DavidB1126 . Uhhh I think that’s it. Also got a Aliminum front hinge pin set and thinking of getting a better steering rack. Idk. This one is practically new so there’s like no slop.

So, was driving the Slash MM when I noticed that the power was cutting out…… car stopped driving and we noticed an interesting smell. Took off the body and unplugged the battery. Then I figured ‘oh what the heck’ and plugged the ESC back in. Smoke. Unplugged the battery and yanked the ESC out (GoolRC) plugged the ESC back in and watched the show. After a bit I saw some flames and my bro blew on it. FLAMES! sat and watched it melt away. Slash MM is now out of commission.

Been a while since I updated this.

This pic explains all the changes:

Slash MM is now just a Slash.

I wanted a better bashing experience and more trophy truck driving. Now this rig has an insane amount of droop and the suspension is so nice….

But just because this particular Slash is no longer MM’d, doesn’t mean I’m done.

Hence, the Slash MM-R.
