I was hoping you guys could help guide me as far as what and how to lube. What tools I need etc. If you guys have links, please post them too.

uhm what do want to lube.your 1/1 car..your gf...your farm equipment????tools what are you working on

:stupid:

Well, if this was the 1:1 forum or the gf forum, I could understand your question. Since it's the T-Maxx forum, I am somewhat confused. Are you new here???

yes it would help to know what part of the MAXX you are going to lube.

Ok, let me clarify and end the sarcasm. I just wanted to know what parts of the T-Maxx 2.5 I should lubricate on a regular basis and even those parts I should lube once in a while. I was also looking for how-to links for parts that might not be as simple as a squirt of wd40.

lube your bearings every few runs i like the trinity lube for that. After every gallon you should check your diffs and tear them down and regrease them. And use ARO in your engine.

Which bearings? What do I check the diffs for? and thanks for the response.

try to lube most if not all bearings. In the diffs check for wear in the teeth check the spider hears the diff cups excessive side to side play.

What about the transmission gears? Do you put anything on those? Would WD40 hurt or help?

i wouldnt use WD-40 on any part of a RC it will eat away plastics and orings after a while for the tranny gears you can check them for wear and geat some lithium or silicone grease in a can and spray a light layer over the gears.
