Hi guys. I posted this in general topic too, sorry to bore you'se.
As you know the needle settings are 2 turns and 4 (lsn hsn) from factory. But I found thes excessively rich even for run in. By the time I finished 2 tanks, (heat cycle method) I was down to 2 1/2 hsn and probably 2 hours in on the low.I still think its too rich. Is Losi known for rich settings or am I looking for trouble? And how far have some of you gone with your tuning. (just for my personal red light settings)

Tuning is really partial to the user's conditions in weather, type plug and fuel, break in method and patience.

Breaking in is very key to the life of your engine. Rush it and it wil determine the length of it or take your time and see the power come out of it.

ALL RTR's should come with the engine set to be rich. Better rich then lean and kill the engine prematurely.

if your still haveing problems be sure to check the "tuning flow chart" stickied in the general forum.
