Hey there guys, i have an lst2 and it keeps stalling i took it to the local shop to get it tuned when got it back the guy said it's running good other than a flat spot just after taking off. it doesn't choke up on feul just does nothing then gets past it doesn't normally make it stall. When idling for a few seconds it will normally stall and i can see quite a few air bubbles in the feul could this cause it to stall? I have put new feul line on so there are no holes. after stalling sometimes it's hard to start will only fire for a couple of secs then die and repeat repeat. If i block the exhaust seems to make it start again easier. any help would be great.

Michael

it would be fun to use if it would keep going.

it sounds like a air leak the fuel primer on the tank of the lst2 is known for leaking otherwise mabee the cap if it is the primer id just take it out and seal the hole

i have pulled the tank out and put it in water while blowing as hard as i can into the exhaust fuel line and there are no bubbles in the water anywhere that does mean no leaks?

you won't know until you run it but IMO I would seal that primer up as an insurance policy. I have done this on both of my LST's with great success. HERE is the link for the how to.

+1 on the primer removal. Also i would change out all of the fuel lines that you have on the rig, just as a precaution, and since its so cheap.

While you are at it check the o-ring in the fuel filter (make sure there are no tears and it's tight) and the ends of the fuel lines where the fuel filter slides in.

Or just axe the stock filter, and get a Big Daddy, or i think that is what it was called, i never had good luck with the stocker.

The Losi heat resistant fuel filters are nice and cheap and cannot leak.
They are one solid piece. 2 for 4 bucks at my LHS.
Check your exhaust seals and all your carb O-rings, make sure all the bolts on the engine are tight.
Any of the above will cause bubbles in the fuel line.
