LST transmission

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone else was having a issue with the transmission output shaft item LOSB3127. I was running my truck on the golf course fairway and the car stopped. After some investigation I found that that piece was broke in two at the pinhole spot. Now I go to order one (actually I ordered 2) and no one has them in stock. Seems funny to me that a $3.00 item is keeping me from enjoying this great truck. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I'm not exactly sure what part it is you are talking about but i undertand how you feel about a 2 or 3 dollar part ending your fun. goodluck!

Thanks for the reply! It is actually a very important part of the transmission. This piece turns the wheels, without it the truck does not move. In the transmission all the gears transfer their movement to this output shaft. Its listed as the Trans Output Shaft & Spacer on the parts list.

jef is ur lst one of the 1st released?I'm wondering if late released lst are havin these problems ..i want to inlcude the lst in my fleet but I've seen a lot of problems I'm not sure if I'm willing to take the risk ..but i have part of the money already still not sure about it. maybe 20% of it is my worries on spending too much cuz they break a lot and 80% i really want one

I'm not sure how you tell...my receiver box is numbered LST012250 if thats some sort of labeling system they have. I just bought it a couple months ago. I really like the truck and based on what I have seen and what my friends have the LST is near the top of the food chain. That is just my opinion though, I dont own any other trucks. I could have bought any truck I wanted, the LST looked pretty easy to work on. I am very happy with the truck and fixing it is part of the fun. However, it was very hard to find this particular part which made me question whether alot of people were having the same issue. I guess not based on the reads vs replies in the LST forum here. Again, I love this truck and would suggest it to anyone. Good luck.
