is there any other cb that would fit ?cuz eveytime u put on the screw and the washer it locks up u need to tighten screw so it will turn..have u found any solutions to this

Not sure what your problem is I have a lst and have changed engine twice w/ no probs let me know!

ok when i put my cb and put the screw on with the washer its hard for me to turn the cb and if i tighten the screw i can't be able to turn the cb with my hand..are u using a stock cb?mine is stock..I'm used to a cb that when u put on the screw it still turns freely when u turn it..unlike this one ..

Have you checked the bearings, on the inside and outside of the bell. Maybe they need changing.

It should turn freely. Sounds like you've got too many shims or something like that.

when you remove the screw, the shaft should stick up above the bearing but just barely. If once you have everything put together with the exception of the screw and the shaft is inside the inner bearing then thats your problem. Your squeezing the bearing and assembly together....

i didnt have too many shims in there i only have one between the shaft nut and the inside bearing then the shim betwen screw and top bearing
