does the low side needle effect the temp of your engine? If so is it the regular Left = Rich,,,,,, Right = lean.
Why is that, why wouldn't the engineers put R = rich L = lean
 
The low speed needle controls how well your RC goes from 0 Throttle to Half Throttle. Adjust it so the car takes off good but be sure not to lean it too much becuase it does affect your Temps. Too Lean=Too Hot Too Rich=Too Cool. And yes Left it to richen it and right is too lean it.
 
Think of it like an outside hose faucet. Open or close...same way, same effect.
It will cause an overheat if it's too lean, and you won't be able to correct it with the HSN.
