2 weeks ago whilst running my inferno I noticed that a cooling fin on the head was broken off my lrp 21Z engine. Last weekend after an afternoon running there was another 2 fins broken( no crashes ) just the fins breaking off the cooling head Any ideas and what will be the implications of carrying on running this engine. Can they be fixed?

No, that's a warranty issue. Call Associated/LRP.
Bad casting or some other material issue.

Possibly this OR you might be running far too lean, seen this happen more than once.

No the head can't be fixed - it'll be a new one (head).

Really I have over leaned on purpose to kill and engine....I have had a mill over 375 before and have never had a cooling fin fall off......
X2!
I destroyed quite a few engines, never had that happen. Hell even the cooling head on my Axial was stronger than the block was.
I botched a backflip on grass and cracked the block.
:D

Yep done it myself (by accident by running for extended periods) on a Collari XS2100 and seen it happen on a 421B Rossi too. By this I mean running overlean for a few tanks rather than it happen in 5 mins if you see what I mean.
