Well the pull start on my LRP is cramped in between the engine and the huge fuel tank, is there any way I can get it higher so I dont have to pinch it out?

I was thinking like putting somthing on the string between the pull handle bar and the backmount to fill the gap like spacers in a shock or something but I dont know what... Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

you could put a piece of small fuel tubing on the string

thats what I was thinking but wouldnt that be smushed by the handels pressure? I may be wrong, ill look into it.

A ball point pen housing works nicely too. Just remember not to let the string slip once you remove the handle! Lots of foul language willl insue.
Also the little black rubber bump stops on the Savage shock rod ends work nicely.
If you have an old pullstart you can rob the spacer from it as well.

I have tried the fuel tubing too, it's just too flimsy if you need to add more than an inch.

I have an extra actual pull-start spacer(extension) and handle if you need it, PM me and let me know, I'll send it to you.......it's from a Dynamite pull start.;)
