That's sucks to hear stay positive though he will pull through like a warrior and Ya post up video of you getting smoked by him lol

What's a good high quality bulkhead lost control smashed into a wall and well I'm gonna need new bulkheads

They are machined out of 6061 bar stock, so they are heads and shoulders better then the stock plastics.
The best would be UE bulkless, then Great Assembly 7075 bulks, followed by HCR, GA 6061, ACNCM, Traxxas.

I've had a heck of a time finding another reasonably priced set of HCR bulks, so I plan to pick up a set of ACNCM's once I get the revo back together, then I plan on getting back to my BB max builds.

675$ for the ue bulkless

Yup, and that's if you can find someone that has a set to let go of them.
The upside is they are the baddest system ever made for a maxx truck, uses 1/8 buggy diffs, has the towers built in.

The down side is the price and scaritity.

I shutter to think what it would cost today to make them, with the price of raw materials and the insane amount of machine time to break them out of a block of 7075.

I wouldn't mind having them either, but unless I hit the lotto it just isn't going to happen.:)

I still have parts I need to buy for my BB builds, I have the hardest parts to lay hands on, 2 UE Thunder chassis and related parts.

I was hoping to have them done by now but it hasn't worked out that way! :)

Your build has come along nicely.

Sweet custom builds are pain in the butt lol but I guess worth it. In the end well get on yours so we can see the finish product lol yes it come along nicely took a little to long :)

Rollcage came in today looks like fitment is gonna be pre close to perfect will post the finish results soon

Congrats on the cage. I would think it should line up pretty close. The RD Logics chassis is the exact same length as the stock #4907 maxx chassis. And I was reading in a previous post you were checking out aluminum bulks. The ones hotracing makes for the maxx trucks are pretty decent and the price isn't bad either. Plus they have a removable center so you can access the diffs a lot easier.

Will look into that hulkmaxx but the cage looks like fitment is t so good gonna need some molding I'll post update the front lines up perfect but the back is off quite a bit

That I don't know one sec I'll post pics

WOW that's a good distance off man. I think you may have purchased the older shorter style chassis cage.
