so i have a lrp.30 in my savage in still kind of new. But to turn on this beast of the motor i have to give it alot of gas then it just dies.. the motor is still new so I'm guessing its the idle screws? it can't be the glow plug cause i replace them every month I'm using "beltran Racing glow plugs" (can't be found online)..

So can any one tell me a tune for the idle screws?

Pull of your air filter, your carburetor's slide needs to have about a 1.0 to .5mm gap between the carb body and the slide.

Not sure how many turns that is on the idle screw..

Set the idle screw as mentioned above. Then get the engine running and lean the LSN slightly until it will idle on it's own. Once the engine gets to running temp the LSN may end up being a little lean. Do your final adjustments to the LSN when the engine is at operating temps, and note that when starting cold, all engines will run as if they are too rich until they warm up. Do not try to adjust the engine for performance when it's cool, as soon as it heats up the settings will be lean. There is a tuning guide in my signature, follow it word for word and your engine should tune in perfectly, I hope this helps you out.

how much fuel have you ran through it?
mine did not really come alive until about 3/4 of a gallon

if its closed can it be thats why it dies?

and thanks people for your help

If there is no gap, then certainly yes it is not going to stay running or run at all if you do not give it any throttle.
