LRP .30 or .28

Hey The 5.9 in my Savage XL is shot and I am relpacing it with either the LRP .30 or the .28. I can't decide which one to get. I'm thinking the .30. The ones I'm looking at all have the pull start. Will the rotostart back plate fit on this motor? Or will I have to buy one for it?

Theres no replacement for displacement. Not sure about the back plates tho. Ill bet either motor is gonna be smokin.

I have both the .28 and .30....the .30 is just silly. As far as i know (I can be wrong) there is not a roto start back plate for the .30. I am extended out almost as far as the XL so pull start is ok I guess.

the losi back plate will fit it, you just need to use a spring from a ink pen to get it all to work.

on the back plate the holes have to be elongated , but thats a simple task with a dremil
