+1 on the Slash if he wants wheelies. He needs a Stampede, High Roller, or better yet a Wheelie King! JMO!

Oh. Only two problems I see with cable ties: 1) They are not pliable 2) They don't have a big cross-section (not very "deep"). JMO...

he wants wheelies, noise, sand dune capaple, and high speed. the only thing the slash will get him is high speed. from looking at the pics of the slash, the wheels arent designed for loose sand.

as for cable ties for paddle tires, it might work. they may not have the cross section they need but they should do better than stock buggy tires

Ill have to do my homework on the slash. I've been a little interested ever since it was a prize for the RCNT lotto. Did the aftermarket pick up pretty quick on the slash?

does it work well in "sandbox" style sand? I'm assuming thats what hes running it in.

Stock, it runs fine, in that kind of stuff, i ran mine stock on the beach vollyball count here at my apt complex.

well if you've ever been to the desert you'll know what kind of sand I'm talking about...its kinda hard so its easy to drive through but on the sand dunes it starts getting soft REAL soft...is'nt the slash a desert truck :P but too bad its brushless...I'm more of a nitro guy :/ great videos by the way! the car runs pretty well! thanx guys...so from ur advices i think ill go with the bad lands tire(the one with the high treads) lol and i also saw inferno with one driving on sand...it was great and it had good grip! and yea about the cable ties..they actually work! great rooster tails btw just like the ones with paddle tires but not soo high and not so much sand too :P
