You pimp you! lol

Now all you need are the spinners and you will be in ;) Seriously!

Did you pull the shocks?

That looks pretty sweet man !!Just don't hit any bumps now..It looks like you took out the shocks and put smaller ones in to make it lowered..:redbuggy:

DAMN...A .21 1/8 scale onroad with BIG ASS tires. :w00t:

Yeah...how did you get it SOOOOO low??

Sorry but I am sickened by the look. Why buy an off road vehicle and turn it into a street vehicle? I see it on the street time and time again and am sickened seeing a perfectly good 4X4 being lowered and 18" rims put on it with 24" tires or some crap like that. Sorry. If it makes you happy to build that then so be it.

That is not his truck, for one thing.

The other thing, I guess this might be the answer to all those who feel they need speed out of an MT. The Street Savage.

Personally, I think it looks cool, but would never in a million years do that to my own. MTs are meant to run everywhere, and in that configuration, running over a dime would probably kill it.

Well to add to the confusion, this owner dude also has upgraded A-Arms and linkages and fuel tank guard and skids. He beefs his truck up for off-road then drops it to the floor. Now all he needs is KornKids custom soundsystem! I dont see how lowering it makes it much faster, it still has a stock engine with just a Hi-Flo Air Filter and stock exhaust.

It will run a little faster due to it's lower profile. More aerodynamic and less turbulent air beneath the truck. In fact, at speed the air under the truck will actually help stabilize it.

he can always lift it ... i mean its not like its permanently low like that ... i think it would be a cool change of pace for every now and then , but i have a road car so there is no need for me to do that ...

Nice job! How did u get down so low? Where did u get the rims?

The rims I believe are Pro-Line Velocity 6 wrapped in Pro-Line Road Rage 40 series.

I seen another Savage dropped like that at a spot where nitro sedans bash at. I asked the guy how he did it and he said with zip ties. I looked at his truck and sure enough they were zip ties. To each his own I guess.

1. the truck has lost a shock on each a-arm to get it that low.
and 2. EP, I think why he did that is because he lost 400+ dollors and has no more mony to buy a car.

heres another shot

No money yet he has enough to get velocity 6's around(40 series) and wrap them with road rages 40 series and aluminum arms and skids.
Wheels=About $120
Arms all around=$80
Almost enough for a Rs4....:redbuggy:

i think if he is on a budget it is a good idea. ... it is almost enough for an rs4 . but it also doubles as a truck when he wants it too . all while only maintaining and fixxing one car (truck) ...

i have to worry about the handling tho . with the zip ties around, it doesn't allow the springs and shocks to expand on hard cornering .. so while cornering at high speed. the outside shocks will compress , but the inside shocks are zip tied in their spot , so with no expansion , wont the inside wheels just lift up ? maybe I'm wrong, but thats just what it seems like ot me ..
