Losi Micro Baja no longer?

Just wondering, is this item discontinued? I have looked all over tower and some other sites including Losi's and I can't find anything on it but you can find them in some LHSs. There are three of them on a shelf at one Hobby Town USA close to me. Are the parts still supported?

The Losi "bug" bodies were discontinued due to copyright issues with VW. I'm sure you can still get parts for the rigs themselves but you own't find those particular bodies anywhere other than what's already on the shelves.

Dang that's strange sense Losi is one of the big names in RC. But you're right. :\

Horizon Hobby is your big Losi distributor in the US. The mini Baja was actually better than the Mini T as well. It had a hotter motor, better shocks, and an extra set of paddle tires that came with it. Might have been some other upgrades too, I don't remember. I have one of the Micro Bajas.

i bought a mini baja and turned it into basically a mini T and i have the bug body unpainted, this was about a year or so ago so the might still have parts around some stores.

Atomic makes a similar Baja body. There's also a guy over on the Toyz forum who has produced a limited number of his own Baja design. Every now and then a carbon fiber bug body will pop up no ebay.

I modded an Atomic body to my liking and ended up liking it more than the Losi.

This is all true, plus the mini baja comes with a wall charger and rechargeable battery.
