Thinking of getting the o.s. tz .18 engine for my losi 810 buggy, from what I have read it has plenty of power for its small size and holds a tune really well. anyone ever used one or owns one that could give me some input on this engine?

It's a bit small IMO to use in a buggy. Buggies usually use a .21 size.

It has the losi 3.4 on it now and its really quick, it keeps up with most of the .21s on the track. My buggy is super light and it is about 1.25 lbs lighter than the losi 8ight.

The Losi 3.4 is actually a .20 and is in a small block form factor. The OS .18 will bolt right up and probably be plenty powerful. The 810 is considered 1/8th scale.....but it's the same platform as the Ten-T, just in Buggy trim....so it's a very small 1/8th scale Buggy. That little Losi 3.4 has some good power to it though.....my Ten-T ripped with it....the 810 must be even quicker!

I was looking at the dyno results of the .18 tz, and it puts out a very impressive 2.3 hp and takes of with the extreme quickness. as fast as the 810 is with the 3.4 at 1.3 hp, the .18tz on it would be killer on such a light set up.

I think thats the engine I will get, I also thought about the os .21 v spec but with the small fuel tank that the 810 has the little power house .18 tz is probably the best choice for this buggy. Thanks for all the input, much helpful. I will let you guys know how it turns out.
