I am looking at picking up a used buggy but I know absolutly nothing about them. I am only gonna bash it, cause there is no where to race in RI. I am looking for something durable and can jump well. Can you guys please point me in the right direction. I have my eye on Retarded Pilots XTM. Would this buggy be good for me.

The X-Terminator is a great bashing buggy. I was never able to break mine, but, its not the greatest handling buggy. If your not racing its not a big deal, X-Terms are built like tanks and are very reliable.

I've never had a xtm anything exept for the engine on my savy and i havent had it long.. but i do have a hyper 7 pcr.. and i tell ya that thing is a tank.. there also not really expencive ether.. i would suggest it to anyone.. all i do is bash but i havent broke anything exept a screw that holds the rear brace but it wasn't the factory screw..and it had been bent befor.. the hyper is one tough buggy.. there may be others but thats what i own.. I'm used to driving a savage and i drive it as hard or harder then the savy..

I know the buggy RP has. Nice thing is you will get to set it up anyway you want if has not already picked out the motor for it. That buggy has many factory upgrades standard and will serve you well. I say go for it.

I had Beason's buggy before him and I'd have to agree its one hell of a rig. I actually have one for sale if your intersted its my brothers, it has spare suspension parts and its in great shape. The Hyper 8 port has just been pinched so you get a brand new mill with it. Flat 6v batt pack 2 sets of rims/tires. PM me if your interested. Looking to get 225+shipping. LMK

I've got the X-term. I know it doesn't handle like the higher end buggies. But it is one tough SOB. My kid ran mine WOT into a guardrail last year. Messed up the bumper, knocked out 2 screws and the air cleaner was about 20ft away. Wish I had some vid. Did have to buy some front hubs about a month later.

Buggies are tanks. But if you are thinking about running on grass get an MT.

dont listen to vbgagnon, .....*waves watch in front of your face* ..you want rp's buggy

you must have rp's buggy ...........also when you hear a bell you'll cluck like a chicken ..*snaps fingers*

LOL

S**t, RP, I am tempted to check into your deal! Well, not too serious as I have 2 buggies already, but I saw that thing and it is very nicely made for teh money and it came with a TON of upgrades and spare parts.

If you get that HPI Baja, I will have to get one, too. Those things look extreme.

thanks revo,

oh and i WILL get the baja ....whether i have a wife or not after that is another thread :)
