I'm looking to buy some new tires for the savage x 4.6. I'm soo confused when it comes to tires when looking on ebay as I'm confused about rim sizes and then tire sizes. Could someone help me out? I'm looking for some NICE looking black rims MAYBE the Axial 1.9 8 Hole Beadlocks Black Chrome with some nice all surface tires:P..Thanks all. If someone has a little free time and could help me out that would be great. Would be great if its off ebay. Thanks

Axial bead locks SUCK from what i was told.

Get proline mulchers and HPI warlock rims (black looks best IMO)

I have the Proline Badlands tires on my Baja 5b and they have plenty of traction and a very aggressive tread pattern. Mine are the medium rubber and street driving hasn't worn them down too much.

I'm THINKING of buying these: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=310080596710&Category=34061 for the price thats a GREAT DEAL! hope they are real. Anywho, now can someone help me find some rubber to put on them? Any good all surface tires that will fit THESE RIMS. Thats the part i need help on, something that will fit these. Maybe the proline mulchers if possible for these size rims. Thanks

CRAP JUST NOTICED, they are 12mm. GRRRRRRRRRR
aCTULLY i think I'm just going to go to the LHS see what they got.

stock size is 3.2.
1.9 and 2.2 are way too small.

My personal favorite is what i am running now. HPI Aggressors on Maximizer 17mm 1/2" offset wheels

nice.. like those rims.. tHINKI i might consider it:)

There's so many tires out there that I can't keep up with them all. When it comes to determining what you want I would take into consideration the look, size, if I'm gonna race it or just bash and what kind or terrain i.e.: sand, loose dirt, hard dirt, pavement that I will be rumming on. Good luck.
