I'm just looking for people to bash with in the area.I have a great place for bashing 5 minutes from my house but it gets boring going alone. Here are some horrible pics of the bashing spot here taken from my PC screen but hopefull you get the idea.

Dude I'm from pittsburgh. I live towards Robinson, out the parkway west towards the airport. Ill bash with you. Drop me a Private message or something. Peace!

I am South East of Pittsburgh. There are a few tracks popping up around the area. I also know several people that are getting envolved in the hobby. I am thinking of starting a club myself. It would be cool to get enough people that we may be able to lease some cheap property and start a RC Park.

Anyway, I am always up for some bashing or racing!

IF you are looking for a offroad track in the area, I know of 4 that are established. Probably the best organized is McCullough' Offroad in Sarver,PA. Very nice track. You can check it out @ www.mcculloughs-offroad.com. There is one in Washington called Moore RC Speedway. There is an indoor/outdoor track in Latrobe called RC Avenue. There is also a track in Elizabeth, PA that is unorganized. It is not a bad place to just show up and bash with your friends. We are going to try and get that track in better shape this year. I also have a few friends that have small tracks on their property. If your interested, drop me a line.

I've heard about McCulloughs from the guys at my LHS but i've never been their. They said it was mainly 1/10 scale offroad and I run a Savage and my freinds here have 1/8 so I never went and checked it out.I'm about 5 minutes east off Pittsburgh in the Forrest Hills area.I've found a bunch of guys in the area and we're going to try to get together once the weather gets better. We've been talking about all meeting up here http://www.brownshobbyshop.com/index.htm

It's about an hour from me here but the place is open 7 days a week from 10am-9pm all year round and it's free to run the track except the weekends that they race on it.If you guys are interested let me know.

I was talking with one of the sales people from Hobbytown USA, in Robinson Town Center. He told me that the owner was looking to add at least a couple of tracks in the area of the store this year. Probably an indoor and outdoor facility for offroad and onroad. That would be very cool!

I also read that Steel Valley Hobbies is looking to build a track in the area and they are in the final stages of the financing the land for it.

So keep checking back often for Pittsburgh area track updates!

For those in the Pgh. area. McCulloughs Offroad has posted the schedule for the 2004 season on their web-site.

It is a very nice track and relatively easy to get to.

McCullough's will be running Monster Truck and 1/8 scale this season on a regular basis. They are also going to try a vintage class.

I am getting impatient waiting for the weather to get better. I began the building of a track in the woods near my house. A friend of mine has layed out a track in his back yard. I'll be helping him get that going a soon as the weather gets better. Also the track under the Elizabeth bridge (Rt 51) should be hopping this year. I know many people that have volunteered to help with it.

There are going to be half a dozen of us in Elizabeth this weekend. (probably Friday and Saturday weather permitting) If you are in the area of Elizabeth on Rt.51, Just look for us under the bridge on the West Elizabeth side.

edit:(Friday we wil be there around 4PM)
