300 is not much cash, especially since you need everything. I would try ebay....

good luck new. You are better finding a used one for that much. than spend a little at a time and build it to what you want then. The best bang for the buck with almost everything you need is traxxas 4-tec

You could go with several rtr cars. But they will not be the same as nitro. The electronic car will do one or two laps with top speed then start to slow down. Nitro you have fill power till no gas is left. In the race for speed ( assuming this is what you want ) it can run you gust as much money in the long run for electronic as nitro. The best advise I could give you if you are new to the hobby is save a little bit more money and buy a nitro. About 400$ will get you started and having fun.

By Gas i take it you mean Nitro, for just over 300, you can get a CEN CT5 onroad. Great Car, very capible. the Motors are Easy to deal with imo. I've had great luck with the NX-15 in mine. They can also be fairly good track cars when set up properly too.

the electronics leaves something to be desired, but unless you buy a losi with a spektrum as stock radio, what rtr elects dont need work?
jm2c.

if though you mean GAS, i wouldnt suggest spending any less than 500 used/ 700 for a new Gasser. if you do your asking for headaches that can easily be overcome by spending a bit more on the better models from the start.

HPI RS4-3 series is a great car the other is the TRAXXAS 4-TEC. The 4-TEC is the fastest of the two but not by mush. It real easy to get started in. It has the EZ start not a pull string. As for the RS4-3 there are many more options to go with and is a little slower than a 4-TEC but handles better in my opinion. It will come down to how good you are at driving. If you are new start slow. If you can drive something doing 70MPH than go fast. My favorite is the RS4-3 but I own a 4-TEC 3.3. I hope this helps.

I will sell you a lightly used HPI RS4 3 Evo+ w/NSX GT body with everything but a glow ignitor and fuel bottle for well under 300...PM me for details.

I think he is Rolex. but to be fair you can go to Ebay and buy the 1/5th scale XRC onroad Gasser for about 400 and shipping. but we all know in R/C, like Home Stereo Equipment, you Get what you Pay for. the next best gasser is the Smartechs at 700. then the FG Sportline models at 800.00. all these are considered decent but medium shelf 1/5th scale R/Cs.

you Know your getting a topshelf 1/5th scale gasser when your dropping 3000.00 for a Roller without electronics and stock motors. ( a stock Zen 260 is about 240.00 )

I have moved this to the appropriate forum. It seems that you are looking to buy here. If you want to get suggestions, either do a search on the net at the online shops or post a thread on what is available for your budget.

Thanks
Jon

Personally, I like the NTC3. Great car to start with and a blast to drive. You can get it new, RTR, for around $320.

Unless Team Associated has changed things, they come with a fuel bottle, glow driver, etc. Everything but fuel and batteries. Here's you a link,

Best bang for the buck IMHO and I've owned the Cen and the RS4 cars. RS4-3 is a good car but I like the NTC3 for the ease of wrenching on it and suspension adjustability....
