A spec 1s in a Savage should run hard. Much higher revs than the K mill, you'll notice it in the top speed hey. It'll kill your other ones.

The aluminum A Arms are a waste of money. The plastic is much better for bashing as it will bend and not break. The aluminum will bend and they you are stuck with bent shiny stuff. I would also stick with stock dog bones. Those TVP's look OK, but I would suggest looking for something Low Center Of Gravity. Those just look thicker than stock. Look at FLM or Innovative RC for some TVP's.

Stay away from the bling alum arms. They are a waste of $$ in my opinion.

Go with the RPM ams if you want to upgrade from stock.

as I had said in my 1st post I still have 2 other savages to bash this is an occaisonal driver on the street more like a shelf queen something to show off now and again I want it to look nice and pretty that will not talk back at you.

So you are saying the axial .28 spec 1s is not good? Or are you saying it is faster in top end?

I think he is saying that it is faster on the top end because it will wind tighter.

The fast lane machines lower COG TVP's seem to hold up very well. If you're going to want to take it out on the street sometimes for a quick drag race up and down the street, then return it to the shelf, you might want to get the extended TVP's to help keep the front end down.

What I meant is the Axial spec 1s is the better mill than the K4.6
It will run higher revs but still has reasonable low end power, the revs will give you a higher top speed. Its not their top motor but a good choice none the less.

The Axial Spec 1s is the same exact motor internally as the K4.6. Both are decent for bottom end torque, but no topend what so ever.
Axial made the K series for HPI, then released their own version later on.
The F4.6 has a smaller carb than the Axial, but has a much better crank. The Axial and K series cranks are plain as can be, no turbo scoops. The F series crank is a work of art compared to the K series. I don't understand why they did it that way myself.
I'd be willing to bet a F4.6 with a K series carb would outrun a K series mill all around.
