So i ordered my gcm twin diffs and clutch today so i decided to go and q-tip the savage and re-familiarize myself with it before the diffs get here. I noticed my front skid wasn't flush so i investigated. look what i found below the skid!!!!

The funny thing is i have no idea how this happened!! I don't ever remember any collision that would have caused this. Luckily i bought some gcm replacements a few months ago and never got around to installing them.

Wow. I'm not familiar with the Savage at all so I have no idea what that part is, but dayum. How did you not notice that?

the main thing is that the performance never changed. even with it tweaked like that, it still held a straight line and it showed no sign of damage.
look at the bottom of this savage. there is a purple skid on each end under the black skid/bumper assembly. the only reason i saw it is because i noticed my black plastic skid wasn't flush with it.

You would think I would have a bent arm, cracked rim, or a serious gouge somewhere. I can't find anything....

New gcm skids are installed.
